Large windows facing the valley flood the ground floor rooms with sunshine. highlighting burnished terracotta floors. beamed ceilings and antique furnishings. The property boasts an immaculately maintained. walled garden with beautiful century-old trees. rockeries and extensive lawns that lead down to a swimming pool. La Cumbre is the ideal retreat after a day spent exploring the medieval town of Lucca and the surrounding countryside. Outdoor seating areas are scattered about the grounds. and the highlight for guests is a very large loggia where up to 16 can dine al fresco at a long table. or even play a game of table tennis. A small guest house for 2 is set on the far side of the loggia.
